How to Prepare for Your Upcoming Appointment

Everyone's skin responds differently to these treatments. This information acts as a guideline only.

Preparing your appointment:

  • If you normally wax or thread, get it done at least 3 days prior to your procedure and not any later.

  • Avoid chemical peels for at least 4 weeks before your appointment.

  • Discontinue tanning one week prior to appointment.

  • If you have a sunburn or flaking skin- we will have to reschedule. Please, give 24 hours notice to reschedule or you may forfeit your deposit.

  • Do not drink alcohol, take aspirin or ibuprofen within 24 hours before your procedure.

Day of the appointment:

  • Come in wearing your everyday makeup and something comfortable to wear.

  • If you don’t wear makeup or didn't get a chance to wear any, bring inspiration photos!

  • We will customize and build your look based on your anatomy and what shape you like.

Immediately after appointment:

  • The tattooed area will appear to be darker, bolder in color, and more sharply defined immediately after your appointment. This will continue 3 days or so after the appointment.

  • Swelling and redness is normal and should subside within 48 hours.

  • In some cases, swelling may last around the eye area for up to 3 days but should not prevent you from working or socializing.

  • The treated area may feel a bit like sunburn afterwards but there should be minimal discomfort.

  • Shower or bathe normally, but avoid using any soaps or cleansers on the treated area for the first day as they can be detrimental to the bonding process.
